How to Reconnect my Linksys WRT54G behind 3801HGV?

Lightning fried my Uverse modem and when the AT&T tech replaced it, he unhooked my linksys WRT54G and took all the cords out saying it was "weird."

I'm starting from scratch putting the linksys behind the 2Wire3801HGV again. My friend who helped me befoe has forgotten how he configured it. I've read some conflicting advice -

Does the LAN port out of the 2Wire go into the WAN port on the Linksys or one of the 4 LAN ports?

Does the 2Wire or the Linksys need to be put into DMZ mode?

DHCP needs to be turned off for the 2Wire or Linksys?

I remember inputting the info for static IP on one of the 2 before but I don't know where to get the values. The 2Wire asks for subnet mask, First DHCP address, and Last DHCP address.

The Linksys asks for subnet mask, gateway, Static DNS 1, Static DNS 2, and Static DNS 3.

I'm not sure about subnets... The 2wire info is
Router/Gateway Address 192.168.2.254
Subnet Mask 255.255.0.0
Private Network DHCP Info
Range 192.168.2.64 – 192.168.2.240
Allocated 2
Remaining 175
Timeout 1440 minutes

The Linksys was reset to its factory setting of 192.168.1.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Solution
2wirw gows into lan port not wan
Linksys gets dhcp turned off and static IP. I would put it something like 192.168.2.63 or something below the 63 or above the 240 so it doesn't conflict. Its gateway would be the routers IP the 254 one
