Max fps on ultra 60 for a GTX 780 lightning good? AC - Black flag

Hey guys, help me out real quick please
My Rig:
i7 - 3770k (4.0 ghz stable 70º)
Gtx 780 lightning(slightly OC'ed)
8 gb corsair 2400 mhz ddr3
260 samsung ssd hd
1000 evga p2 PSU

On AC - Black Flag while running everything almost on ultra i got 60 fps max 1080p. Is this game that poorly optimized for nvidia cards? My old hd 7970 ran almost 100 fps flat(not on ultra i think).
And even setting the display items down the fps doesnt change.

Somebody seen this as well or am i doing something wrong? thanks again!!!

Even 780ti can't get over 60FPS, not to mention 770, 280x, 290x, 780...

Also those GPUs are OCed, so it's clear that AC black flag is not optimized

Oh right the game engine is limited to a maximum of 60 FPS. Its not about poor optimization s it's just a method of coding they chose. Dark souls 1 and 2 , Need for Speed Most Wanted 2012, and a handful of other games did the same thing.

But, fps dropping down to 30 at times is normal as well? Like it doesn`t happen that often, a little now and then... Is that okay too?

Thats awesome... a screwy hd 7970 get more off from this game than my new gpu... thanks for the help guys, just loving ubisoft more now.
