So il just get to the point. i have

  • FX8350 4ghz,
    16gb Kinston Fury (1600mhz)
    Samsung(240) and Kinston(120) SSD's
    msi GTX 770 2gb
~sli'ed the cards heat up to about 80c is that ok ?~
    corsair TX850m psu
The cards are in sli ... sort of. first and foremost i know that the 2gb cards are not the best but i already had one and felt it would be fun to sli it so i could get better frames in BF4 and Titan Fall and such. how ever upon installing the second card the performance of BF4 DROPPED SIGNIFICANTLY. with one card i would run the game at 75+ fps on maxed out settings with no over clocks. using msi afterburner and heaven i can see that the sli is "working" as the graphs for gpu power, usage% and temp simultaneously increase for both card 1 and 2. in heaven the 2 cards score 1669 at a 2560x1423 windowed setting with a 67.3 fps. and one card scored 972 same settings in heaven. i dont really mind turning sli "off" for playing BF4 but it defeats the purpose of having sli so i have run out of ideas. currently im looking into BF4's settings in the N'vidia control panel thanks for reading and hope some one can help
i have tried this sett up on windows 7,8&8.1 with the same result. id rather not try to sell one or both cards and upgrade.

I got only one msi 770 2gb gaming oc edition and it gets up to 72c in watch doge on high so its normal i think some guys says that nvidia gpu's are starting to throtle at 80c some at 90c but in nvidia it's said that the 770 can work max on 98c still you can get a better case for those two beasts if you are gonna uprgade if you sell em both you can afford even titan black so i would sell them i think :D also you run bf4 on ultra 2560x1423 75fps??? or with both cause it will be strange that you max out the game 75 fps on that res and i barely get 50fps with 770 msi 1440x900 high settings in watch dogs :D
