I just built a brand new computer, which currently has no operating system, and I have a brand new Toshiba 1080p monitor. My problem is, when I turn the computer on, everything is fine except it seems its outputting a little more than the size of my monitor, by that i mean everything is cut off by between 1/2-1 inch all the way around, as if its zoomed in just a little bit. I am outputting through HDMI on an evga 770 and the motherboard is a msi z87-g45. I'm not very well rounded in the bios and i'm not sure about the 770 either. if anyone has any tips or suggestions, i would love to hear them :)  I'm not really in the budget however to purchase a new monitor, because the computer sucked my wallet dry. Thanks!

Have you tried adjusting the monitor? Adjust the height and width to match your display.

Why haven't you installed the operating system.
