Alright, here is my complete situation. My GTX 550 Ti died on me recently, so I upgraded to a GTX 760, this one specifically:

I checked online and my motherboard should be compatible with the card, and my power supply meets the requirements for the card. I took out the 550 Ti and replaced it with the 760 (didn't uninstall the 550 drivers first, my bad). I then booted windows and tried to install the drivers on the included installation disk. I think found new hardware wizard was running at this time, and I was unable to cancel it. If anyone knows how to cancel found new hardware wizard, I would like that answer as well. The software on the installation disk failed because it said found new hardware wizard was open. I rebooted and tried again, and this time the installation disk software said it had a successful install. However, when I boot windows, I get to the "Starting windows screen" and then my computer blackscreens and my monitor says that it is receiving no video signal.

I am able to boot in safe mode with the GTX 770, and in regular windows if I plug the dvi cable from my monitor into the integrated graphics on my motherboard, a Gigabyte 880GM-ud2h, rev. 1.4.

I later tried to fix the problem again and deleted whatever the installed video drivers for my 760 ended up as while in safe mode, and ran driver cleaner pro to catch anything else leftover. I then tried to boot windows normally and succeeded. My computer began installing driver software automatically for the card. I waited for this to finish and then downloaded the latest driver for the 760 from Nvidia's website. I then rebooted into safe mode and ran Nvidia's installer. It detected my hardware and completed the install, then I went to the Device Manager and updated the drivers from the VGA Adapter to the Geforce drivers that I just installed. After that finished. I rebooted again into normal windows...and got another blackscreen with no video signal. At this point I have no idea what else to try, I just want my dang card to work. Can anyone please help?

(Sorry if I wrote too much, I just wanted to give you guys as much information as possible so that I could get a solid answer)

My current specs are:

Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz [Processor]
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H (rev. 1.4) [Motherboard]
8 GB DDR3 RAM [Memory]
PNY GeForce GTX 760 2GB [Video Card]
Thermaltake TR2 TR-500 500W PSU [Power Supply]
1 TB Western Digital Caviar Black HDD [Storage]

I believe I did uninstall the gtx 500 drivers before installing the 760, as stated above when I deleted all Nvidia drivers with driver cleaner pro.
