Best computer for using Adobe programs?

I am looking at computers for use with Adobe Programs. I want something kickarse around the $2300 mark and am not sure what to buy.

Currently looking at:
Asus F550DP-XX055H Laptop
HP Envy 17-j113TX17.3 Core i7 Notebook (16gb ram)

Any recommendations or suggestions on what to look for?

imo better choice will be HP envy, there is intel CPU which will be much faster than amd. Both laptops have 16gb ram - its enpough for photoshop. besides CPU there are no big difrences.

I am travel a bit and it is good to be able to take the computer with me. I also visit clients etc... but i am starting to wonder!

I am now looking at a ASUS N550JK -CN14 - do you know anything about these?
It has 16GB ram
4GB NVIDA 850GTX
1.5TB harddrive

Is this overkill?

I predominately use Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.

I design magazines so i have to design and output 100 page files, which my current computer is not liking very much. TO save a high-res print ready 100 page pdf takes me around 10 minutes at the moments and i can't do anything else on my computer other wise it crashes.

My current computer is a 2-year old Toshiba laptop i7, 8GB ram.

Ok cool - can I recommend u look for something with s large fast SSD - this will make far more difference than anything else. I7 should b fine, 8Gb should b fine - perhaps consider simply upgradin yo current system?
