So I recently built my own computer and started running some benchmarks to test how well my cpu and gpu run, and the cpu was about expected but the 780 was running at the fps that a 770 would(compared scores to a friend that has the 770). The benchmark I used was 3d mark vantage and the score my gpu got was 32000 and my friend that has the 770 had a score of 29500. My other buddy that has the 780 but a different version (evga) got a score of around 42000 which is the average for the 780. The version of the 780 I have is the gigabyte wind force edition and my processor AMD FX 8350. Does anyone have an idea as to why the graphics card is behaving this way?

gpu-z readout pls. do an unengine valley benchmark small windowed mode and see realtime temps and core clocks.

take a 20min valley run to heat things up, check max temp and clock, also check in last 5 mins in windowed mode and see if the core clocks are low,

The max heat was about 71 C and the core clock was at 1293 mhz and windowed it was the same

looks like its not the gpu holding you back then, i dont know why some other part is making you score low....
