Main Memory: 8 gb DDR3
i want to play gta 5 and far cry 4

what do you mean by make sure your psu is powerful enough? do you want any other specification? And can i have any one from Nvida?

If your PSU cannot supply enough power to your GPU, there is the potential for the PSU and other components to die. As long as it 500W, it should be alright for most GPU's, but it's always good to have one that is 80+ Bronze or more

can you suggest which psu to buy along with the graphic card and how much should that wattage reading on 12v rail be?

The wattage on the 12V rail should be pretty close to the total wattage of the PSU, for example, a 450W PSU should have at least 400W, preferably more. The exact requirement depends on the GPU, but generally ~400W on the 12V rail will be enough for low to mid level cards.

You should be able to play pretty much anything, but not on high settings. The brand doesn't matter that much, just get the cheapest one.
