Hi All,
I am just hoping someone could give an opinion on the following:

Computer crashes (I have seen BSOD once, the other times it has tried to reboot).
When it powers back up, I get a no boot device found error; but it shows the two SATA drives as Installed
If I cycle the power, it boots fine again.

I am worried I think something is coming to the end of its life - what do you think might be the issue.

Note there are no Minidumps of the BSOD, so I wondered if its the HDD? Hence why it isn't creating a Minidump?

Solution
Minidump files are generated only when Windows crashes, if your PC doesn't get as far as Windows starting up, you won't get any minidump files.

Try replacing the HDD's sata cable and if that makes no difference, if there are any spare power plugs, remove existing one from the HDD and connect spare one. If still no joy, test the HDD:

Test the HDD with "SeaTools for DOS": http://www.seagate.com/gb/en/support/downloads/item/seatools-dos-master/

Use "ImgBurn" to create the bootable CD from the SeaTools CD Image: http://filehippo.com/download_imgburn

Then boot your PC from that CD to test the HDD.
