Hi guys,
so i just bought a laptop Asus n56j with an Intel wireless adapter n 7260 and whenever i connect to the internet from my router (tp-link) the connection just breaks at random intervals and i have to restart the router to get it back. I have 2 pc's, a laptop, a couple of tablets and a phone on this network that never had problems with the connection.

Check in the settings for the wireless adapter if it has power management or power saving enabled. If so, uncheck those options.

No the wireless adapter doesn't turn off. Somehow my network just goes down when i connect to it with this specific laptop and i have to restart the router otherwise it is like there is no signal.
