Hi there
I own a home built computer that I bought with the 3570k processor. I bought it from a guy, who wanted to mess around with an iOS system on it but came on better thoughts.
It's a great little build but one thing that he messed up (and I didn't pay enough attention to when I bought it) is that he used a Gigabyte B75 Motherboard.. You can ask yourself why when it he installed a K-version processor.
So now I would like to take advantage of the 3570K's potential but can't, as it is right now since I need a new motherboard that has OC abilities.
My question is: Can I buy a decent motherboard with a decent price that support both the 3'rd an 4'th generations of intel processors since I don't want to buy a new motherboard that can't be used to further upgrading?
