I need a CPU with a 1550 socket for gaming such as watch dogs and some of the newer games like Assassins Creed Unity, Battlefield Hardline and more.

if you are talking about the socket 1150;
if you are an overclocker go with the i5 4690k or if you have the money to spare and want to go i7 (though its not necessary), the i7 4790K
else, go with an i5 4670 or 4590.

Any of these should be find for the games you have mentioned.

Please may I ask if you already have a socket 1150 motherboard or not? If so, what motherboard is it or if not, then are you planning to overclock? Finally what is your budget?

If you answer the above, I'll select you a CPU within your budget, or if necessary, a motherboard and CPU within your budget.
