Hello i want to ask you guys if the R9 280X can run future games like Assassin's Creed Unity
Dragon Age Inquisition and GTA V on Ultra(NO Anti-Aliasing) on 30+fps???
System specs
FX 8350
R9 280X 3GB
8GB RAM
600W PSU

Solution
Depends on the games as well. A vast majority of benchmarks (if not all of them) show the 280x at ~60-70 FPS average 1080p @ Ultra/highest AA, however, that's with an Intel CPU. The high single core performance does make a difference. Moreso than "in the future, games 'will' use more cores', which is pretty much true, but by the time that happens, and if AMD proceeds down this route, AMD's 8350 will still be considered sluggish.

I'm gonna say you'll get 40-50 FPS maxed out. 60-70.. perhaps 80, if you play with no AA. But the games you listed are titles that haven't been released yet, so there's no telling how well they're optimized

That system has plenty of power for gaming. I have the same processor and I doubt you'll get below 60 FPS. GTA V isn't out yet, so we can't judge.

GTA V was announced for PC PS4 and XBOX ONE at E3 but the requirements are not yet announced

Yup, you should be fine, especially with no AA.

And below are a few videos that show i7 and 8350 side-by-side. this is just for comparison, because you asked about Assasin's Creed. Some of his videos use it so this will give you a good frame of reference on what to expect.

Intel has a little bit of an edge, but it is still VERY close and you should be fine for the games you want ot play.

you should be fine in reality, but i have a feeling that gtaV is going to be difficult, as will ACV, you should be able to run ultra, but a perfect 60fps is unlikely to happen, especially in ACV

Why will GTA V be difficult to run....isnt Max Payne 3 made on the same engine??? In Max Payne 3 i get 70+fps on ultra

equal engine doesnt mean equal performance, theres a lot more contributing factors such as the number of contributing AIs on screen, the draw distance in open world, graphical fidelity etc, i just see ACV being a pain at ultra, fine at high or med, just a pain in ultra.

Is it difficult to maintain 30+fps in AC UNITY on ultra without AA?

i do, its the first true next gen title other than watchdogs and also features gameworks, which is great news for nvidia users, not so much for amd users, so we wont see how it handles until it launches, but thats just my prediction based on what we know about current titles

The problem is nvidia is now working with ubisoft for games like AC unity and far cry 4...though my graphic card is powerful enough....it may not perform well as they must have been well optimized for nvidia cards

We saw the same sort of thing from AMD with dirt 3 and tomb raider, both were horrendously poorly supported for nvidia cards at launch, but within a month were fine, if AMD manage to step up their game, it shouldnt be an issue.
