What RAM do I have to buy

My RAM is currently 6 gb but I want to expand it to 12gb by removing 1 2gb card and placing 1 8gb RAM Card

But what card should I buy?
My pc is: Dell inspiron 580
Motherboard: I don't know but it has 3 RAM Slots

Because I'm upgrading my pc. And my RAM is quickly 80% in use (I do lots at the same time xD). And I don't want to overload my videocard

I just have upgraded my GPU to a Nvidia GeForce 760 (4GB i think)
