Quick question about my psu connectors!

CPU: AMD Fx-6350

Mobo: GA-78LMT-USB3 Rev.5

Video Card: EVGA GTX 650 TI Boost 2GB

RAM: 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1333

HDD: 1TB 7,200 RPM

USB Devices: Max 5

Optical: None

So I gave my psu to a friend so he could go replace it for me because it sucked...

He got me the CoolerMaster 475w http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817171064

But my Mobo has a Atx 12v connector (8pin) vs my PSU that has a CPU 4+4

Question is....are they compatible?
-if not what can I do?
-If it is compatible why do the pins have different shapes?

yea just make sure you plug in both

CPU 4+4 the second 4+4 has like circular pins...

I have the same on my board if they fit they´re the right ones if they were for the GPU they´d be shaped diferent and wouldn´t fit

That is correct, the two 4 pin 12v ATX connectors combine to make an 8 pin EPS connector

see how theres a total of 4 squared pins? where mine only has 2...

I dont want to end up in a worse situation haha XD

I don´t think there is a left and a right one (I think they´re both the same) just put them in that they "click", try them I bet they´ll fit (if you have the EPS connector that is)

I put them in they clicked fine...no force needed...Going to test with power on..my friend said its fine...wish me luck X-X

Here's what you should be concerned with (the connector will fit BTW), the yellow (12v) wires are the ones next to the clip side of the connector. It's the opposite on the PCIe connector which is the only other 8 pin (6+2 pin) connector from your PSU. The 4+4 will work there when combined
