If the motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot it will accept the card's interface.

The 6 pin connector however is related to powering the card via a 6 pin power cable from the power supply, NOT the motherboard, so you'd attach a 6 pin power plug to the card to power it.

GTX 750ti requires 20 Amps on the 12v rail & a 400W PSU minimum

If your PSU doesn't have a 6 pin power connector, it's probably better to get a GTX 750/750ti that doesn't require one.

What PSU do you have ?

to be honest, i haven't checked the psu but i haven't also changed it from the default one i did some research and some dude said that a my desktop (A Dell Studio XPS 9000) supports a standard ATX power supply, with an 24-pin, or 20+4-pin [PWR2] main motherboard and a [PWR1] EPS/ATX12V 8-pin, power connectors and i knew from when i bought this pc that it is a 475Watt 32Amp PSU and yes my motherboard has a PCI-E x16 slot (checked using CPU-Z) and does the 6 pin power cable comes with the card?

Yes, the card will come with a loose 6-Pin PCI-E Power Adapter. You plug one end into a free molex connector on the PSU, then the 6 pin into the card.

i have accepted your answer as the solution but still my main question is unanswered, will the card connect to the psu?

Appreciate that, thank you.

I wouldn't like to guess, unless the person who told you what connectors it has, knows for sure on these as well. Otherwise you'll have to look inside yourself to see.

If it has a 6 pin attached to it, that's great : http://img.dxcdn.com/productimages/sku_28979_2.jpg

Otherwise, you need 2 of these molex's attached to your PSU to use the dual molex to 6 pin power adapter the card comes with : http://www.techarp.com/review/ASUS/S-presso/psu_power.J...

Alternatively, as the GTX 750ti comes in different models, ones that require a 6 pin & ones that don't. Play it safe & get a 750ti that doesn't need it.
