I've upgraded my RAM and now after some BSODs the computer doesn't turn on.

A week ago I bought a new 8gb Kingston 1600Mhz (99u5471-037.A00LF) stick to upgrade my machine wich previously had a 4gb Kingston 1333Mhz (9905471-011.A00LF) and an DH61WW motherboard.(I am using both sticks.)

Everything was running smoothly until the first BSOD the day after. I found out then that my BIOS was outdated and only with an update it would support 16gb of RAM instead of the 8 it used to. I updated my BIOS and then it worked again.
After 4 days of daily BSODs, I decided to look online for a solution, so I tried reseating the RAM, switching slots, testing the computer with only one of them on etc.
Until today that I decided to change the timing on the BIOS settings. So I looked on AIDA64 for the compatible timings and both of them had 8-8-8-22 or 24, I don't remember exactly. And looking at the BIOS settings I found out that they were running at 10-10-10-22 at 1.5V, then I changed it to 8-8-8-22 and saved. Now my computer turns on for a couple of seconds and then turns off.

I tried taking off the motherboard battery for half an hour without sucess.

Edit: Got it working after changing the pins to recovery mode and then to normal mode again.

Edit 2: New problem, I've got it working after changing the pin a couple of times, but now my problem is different.
Lately my computer has been having BSODs caused by some .sys files( including dtsoftbus01.sys, MijXfilt.sys and ntoskrnl.exe).
I have ran a 5 passes memtest86 test and no errors were found. I'm running Windows 7 x64
Do you have any idea what is happening ?

Already have tried this before. No luck.
The only thing I didn't try was shorting the leads as I don't know where they are in my motherboard.

I gave up on trying to use my PS3 controller as I used to (MijXfilt.sys) and now after doing a chkdsk and finding 0 errors, my computer came up with yet another BSOD, this time bad_pool_header. After removing the controller it worked again. I'm considering formatting the computer. It looks like the problem is being caused by outdated or corrupt drivers. Do you know any good programs to detect such things ? I'm starting to get frustrated.

About the GPU, I don't have a VGA cable in hands, for I use a DVI cable.
