Ok, I'm going to buy a Intel Xeon E3-1230 v3 soon and I'm not sure which motherboard I should buy. Small budget, so I'm thinking Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 or Asus Z97-A or what??? Please help! Also, I can't find any really big difference between Gaming 3,5 and 7 models.

My use is mainly gaming and movies. My screen resolution is 1920x1080.

Thanks in advance.

Are you planning to upgrade the CPU in the future? If not, could go the Z87 chipset or even H87...of the two above though would go the Z97-A from Asus, built one last week and it's a great mobo

I'm no expert of course but I prefer buying latest chipsets when upgrading so I want a Z97. I usually upgrade my pc every 2-3 years, if needed obviously. So, in that price range you suggest to buy an ASUS Z97-A?

Thanks! I would love to here for more people before deciding.
