I have a gtx 760 sc 2gb, is their anyway I could also put a AMD card in my system to make it run faster? or would it be better to just to buy another card and SLI it. If not what AMD card would I use?
no you would need 2 760's in sli if your motherboard supports it in order to get more power. amd and nvidia don't work together in any sort of way.
In that case follow up question my current psu is a 760w, I have a msi z87- gd65, 17 4770k, corsair h100i, 8gb trident x, 1 tb wd black. Would I need a bigger psu too add another gtx 760 sc
PSUs vary a lot in quality. An old raidmax "760 Watt" PSU likely wouldn't do it, but a Seasonic X-760 would do it without issue. What exact PSU do you have?
