Having an issue with a kaveri based system I built for a buddy.
I'm not exactly a pro but I have built several gaming pcs ( entry level, current rig is based around an r9 270x) however I have never worked with an apu before.
His build consists of a a10 - 7850k , corsair builder power, mechanical hard drive. He purchased his own (cheap) ram however it's 8gb 1600 with decent latency so I'm not too worried ( would have liked higher speed for apu.)
My issue is that when he attempts to run games I'm pretty sure he should have no problem running, it's so choppy it's unplayable. Team fortress 2 was set as low as possible and it could barely hold 10 fps.
Am I missing a driver or something or do I need to enable something in the bios? ( or did I severely over estimate the power of kaveri)
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks so much!!!
