During idle my Gpu sits around 35-40Cº, during games like league or medieval warfare ect it goes to about 55-60Cº and during demanding titles like Far Cry 3 it goes to 75-78Cº with the fan speeds at 60-65%.

I would like to know if these temps are safe or too high I am running a Radeon Sapphire r9 270x.

Thank you,

the 70c are starting to hit the limit of the gpu. most gpu have 80c limits then they start to throttle down. if you can see if you can add anther fan to blow across the gpu or if you have a small case take the side off and see if the gpu runs cooler.

Those are very normal temps for R9 270x. Some GPUs like the r9 290 normally operate up to 95C. Increase your fan speed to lower temp if you want.
