Will my Gskill RAM run with a Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard?

I'm getting an Asus M5A97 R2.0 motherboard and 8GB (2X4GB) GSKILL Ripjaws X Series RAM. I saw a few forum posts that said that this particular motherboard hasn't had a good rep with gskill ram. Does anyone know if this combo will work together? Thanks guys

if that's the ram you want buy it. it'll work. you will have to make it run 2133 in the BIOS.

It's more of a limitation of the CPU. The memory controller is on-die. The motherboard will affect automatic detection and voltages though.

Getting RAM to run faster than DDR3-1866 can be a real bear for FX CPUs. It can be done though. Sometimes it just takes patience. I've seen some FX owners running DDR3-2400!

Very good! Have actually not seen a ton of FX CPUs that can run 2133, and those that can often need additional DRAM and MC voltage w/ raises temps,
