Can't restore my laptop to factory settings

I have a satellite laptop and I can't figure out how to reset it back to the original factory settings. The 0 button doesn't do anything and there are no options that would reset it. Nothing has been working and I could use all of the help I can get.

not sure if it works for all computers but i used to have an old Acer and once i turned it on i pressed "alt+f10" and it brought up the partition in the hard drive to restore the computer to factory defaults. again, i dont know if it works for all because it was an Acer branded laptop.
