will M4A785TD-M EVO work with g.skill f3-14900cl8d-8gbxm

I just got some ram and my computer will not boot up its g.skill F3-14900CL8D-8GBXM
this is my cpu and mobo asus M4A785TD-M EVO and a AMD Phenom II X4 965

No. Your CPU can control DDR3-1600 unless you do some serious overclocking. Phenom II is actually rated to run DDR3-1333, but 1600 usually works.

Can I set the ram speed to 1333 for my gskill ram, and how would I do it.

Do you have any other RAM you can use? You need to update to the latest BIOS to recognize 4GB modules.

emm ya I emailed g.skill support they helped a lot my computer was set to high to work with new ram and the new ram is faster idk how that works but im running the new ram right now works great and a lot faster
