I have a computer with a 460 Watt power supply, and was thinking of upgrading the graphics to a 270x (from a crappy old GT 630) It's running an 3770. Would the 460 watt power supply be able to do it?

If its a gigabyte 270x then you will need at least a 500w psu. But if you have the msi 270x the 430 will be fine if you have a good quailty psu but i would recommend getting a 500w 80+ psu.

Heres a couple i used in the past that work really well.

1. Cougar RS550 550W 80 PLUS Certified Power Supply (around $60)

2. Cougar RS750 750W 80 PLUS Certified Power Supply (around $80)

The brand of the R9-270X doesn't make any difference on the minimum system requirements. If the particular card requires additional power due to additional demands of a custom PCB, that has nothing to do with it's brand.
