I'm thinking of going with an NZXT Lexa S case. I'm not sure yet wether these specs fit it but it should.. right?
Also, how powerful of a PSU should i get for a build like this?
Anyway, any suggestions, opinions?

UPDATE: I've read the first two answers. Thanks! It helped me, but i just want to clarify that i've going to use 1866 G.Skill Sniper 16GB.
Also, i have considered going for the 4770K and a liquid cooler. thank you for suggesting tho. Since i will use this primarily for Cinema 4D, After effects etc. 3D applications work well with hyper threading so that's why i opted to use this i7 instead of the i5 suggested below.
Now that i have an idea what PSU i will need.. So many thanks to you guys! :)

Solution
non overclocking cpu with overclocking cpu. Change to i7 4770k (or now i7 4790k) or Hb7 (now Z97) mobo

You might want a custom cooler with the k version cpu.

Make sure the case can fit the cooler and the graphics card.

for a pc with a r9 280x, you need a psu than can deliver 30A on the 12V rail and 550W total; minimum. Get a good quality power supply per - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html eg XFX 550, Seasonic 550

Drop the i7 go with i5 4670k. you have and z87 mobo use it. only k processor can be oced. use that extra money towards better gpu. Also just a 750w PSU is sufficient. Also you might want some ram... get kingston hyperx cuz its cheap. other than that its pretty good.
