CPU Problems? Fed up with it! Need Guidance.

So basically almost 2 years ago I had a custom build made for me
AMD FX-8320 8 Core Processor 3.50GHz
24 GB Ram
2TB HDD
GeForce GTX 650 1GB
ASRock 970 Pro3 R2.0
Windows 8

And I have probably used it for about 100 hours in that time period due to all its problems, (I have no warranty by the way, genius I am) at first it was restarting with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL bsod, which then eventually turned into random restarts with no bsod, and now has finally become a CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT bsod with occasional random restarts.

I want to know if i should just buy a new CPU (Which if it would fix it i honestly prefer, and which one to get) or try and fix the problems as I am fed up with it and want to get some use out of the machine. What could it be? (most drivers should be up to date as far I know)

Please tell me what to do!
Thanks

Solution
Is the system stable with a single memory module? Have you run Memtest86+ overnight to make sure there are no memory errors? IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL often is caused by memory errors or a weak PSU (you didn't mention what PSU you have), but it usually isn't caused by the CPU.

They put a cheap PSU in it cause it was a preset custom build, its a Widetech 650W silent PSU. I'm going to do a memtest today as well.
