Random Crashing While System Stays On?

I have been getting BSOD over the past few weeks. Although after automatically restarting, the system seems to work fine, note this does not happen on a consistent bases, rather 2 times week or so.

The last 2 days my computer has been randomly crashing during CS:GO, while the screen does infact freeze up, the system remains on and the computer screens look to be in sleep mode. (Computer fans also start revving randomly and faint sound of distorted sound from the moment my computer crashed ingame.). I am able to restart the system after each incident and it works as usual, but with the few attempts i've had tonight the problem seems to be getting worse.

Specs -
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Motherboard: GA-970A-UD3
BIOS: BIOS Date: 01/28/13 13:43:06 Ver: 04.06.05
Processor: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor (6 CPUs), ~4.3GHz -Stock 3.5-
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Graphics Card: Sapphire 7870HD Ghz Overclocked Edition.
Available OS Memory: 8152MB RAM

Points to make.
The CPU is infact overclocked, although after running several stress tests and playing games on it for nearly a year now I think Id be able to rule this out of the problem. My main concern being the PSU or Motherboard; being the hardest to replace under warranty.

Excuse the fact I just made this best solution, haven't been on here in awhile.

Funny you should mention that, I did change alot of .dll files around in System32 in order to run Watch Dogs as I kept getting an error. It seemed to have fixed the issue. After downloading MalwareBytes premium I think it may of cleaned up these files and I started getting all types of errors with Photoshop and Illustrator.
Do you think this may be linked to my issues?

I have already got it and up to date with recommended changes etc...

Any other solutions? Power supply is Thunder M 550W CoolerMaster

your Radeon HD 7870 requires a psu with 23A and a 500W psu minimum
your PSU has 42A on the +12v rail
i am wondering if with the overclock you may be pushing things a bit especially if playing watchdogs with your card ramped up , try dropping the overclock and see if your issue remains
