Hello everyone,this is my first ever pc build and its for gaming,if you would be so kind as to review the list and let me know if i have made any obvious noob errors. no parts on order yet im still dotting the i's and crossing the t's (your peer review)
Im going for decent rig that will stay useful for a good 2-3 years.
I am building this in New Zealand so the prices listed are the cheapest local prices I can find,if it seems like a bad deal in NZD...it probably is
CPU Intel i-5 4670k oc'd to around 4.2ghz (fairly mild right?)
GPU Sapphire R9 280x Toxic stock oc'd
Heatsink everyones favorite evo212
MOBO ASUS Z87 Gryphon,this seems to have everything,have a reputation for reliability and if im not mistaken has 2 cpu fan control plugs,the plan is with the adapters i found to have all case fans use the cpu demand to control fan speed (power direct from molex psu) also seems to have a decent sound card
Ram Kingston x2 4gb 1600mhz (1 in each channel)
PSU 630W seasonic bronze 80
Coolermaster n300 case
Everything else is standard really 1tb HD,external for backups,wifi adapter,maybe an extra fan
Games:As this is my first pc i dont really have any games yet,games i would have played if i had a pc would be
Modded Minecraft (and vanilla)
Battlefield 4 ALOT
Crysis
Metro
Rage
plenty more i cant think of right now
