Hello,

I am currently working on a friend's build and wanted to get some criticism on the parts. I know you all have a strong dislike toward corsair builder PSUs, but it was what fit in the budget. If anyone could recommend one that also fits in then that would be greatly appreciated. Of course, anything else would also be appreciated :)

Also, any good red ram sticks so they match with the motherboard and case.

you've got an overclockable mob with a non overclockable cpu

try cas 9 1866 ram instead eg G.Skill F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL 2x4GB kit, DDR3, 9-10-9-28, DDR3-1866 (PC3 14900), 1.5V, 240pin DIMM, non-ECC, 40mm high

Try smaller SSD for OS and bigger HDD

Try XFX 650 psu

Wow I don't know how I didn't realize I grabbed the non-k version. Also, I was looking at that PSU earlier, but it isn't modular. Is there a cheap semi-modular xfx or seasonic PSU?

I am going with non-k (I talked with him and he never wanted/wants to oc). The H97 boards for whatever reason are not listed on pcpartpicker, so it is a "custom part" at the bottom.
