My card model is: 03G-P4-2781-KR - 3GB EVGA GTX 780

Basically when I load a game from steam and the card fires up I get black/grey opaque horizontal lines in pulsating vertically across my screen. I am using an old asus VGA monitor but I never had this problem with my old geforce 9800gtx graphics card using the same monitor.

I built this system myself and have put up with this issue for about a month now.

System spec:
Intel Core i5 4670K (stock)
3GB EVGA GTX 780
Asus GRYPHON Z87
8GB Corsair 1600 DDR3 Vengeance
650W Corsair CS650M PSU
Windows 7

Thats a little weird, Make sure you have the correct drivers and right resolution. Also did you try your old card to see if its happening with the old one?

Turning V-Sync on in games seems to have fixed this.

what kind of monitor do you have, and are you connected via dvi, hdmi? Are your drivers the latest ones?
