System Restore Problem?

Last response: in Windows 7

I was looking through my system restores, and I noticed that it said Microsoft (SmartCardReader) 06/21/2006 6.1.7601.18459 will be deleted.

In the programs that will be restored it said
Microsoft (SmartCardReader) 06/21/2006 6.1.7601.18381.

What is this? is it part of a new update? Windows Update? The only new software I've added was a game from Steam a few days ago, but even if I revert to just before the update I made today, it says that change will be made. So was it in a windows update? I can't find it in list of updates.

You must be having a card reader slot in your laptop so its updating the driver for it, windows automatically detects the devices in your system and updates them.

I found the update was on my other PC from the same updates I got. I was wondering where it came from.
