Hi guys :)  i have been playing wild star and i get a lot of FPS lag in some places. i want to upgrade but not sure. i am not sure weather i should just get a new motherboard and go for intel/nvidia cpu and gfx. would nvidia 760 / i5 4670K be enough to run ultra fine? i am not sure i am just asking on suggestions. My current PCU is failing i had to decrease to 2.7MHz manually cause in games i would stutter if its at 3.4MHZ.

i have 4gig ram
CPU amd phenom ii 965
Radeon HD 6970

Or..... should i just buy the amd fx-9370? but then i would need new power supply and MOBO i think. is HD 6970 enough to run ultra and run fine?

Thanks for reading guys appreciated...

FX 9xxx series CPUs are just high end FX 8350. I would not go that route for an upgrade.

If you primarily play MMOs, they tend to have a single high use core, with other cores supporting functions at a lower usage level. So an Intel CPU would be a better fit.

If your current Phenom II is failing, then I would suggest a platform change. The new 4900 series intel CPUs are out as well, and for the same price, and with higher stock clocks and better TIP on the IHS. So this is a good time to do your upgrade.

i7-4970 and 4970k. The i7-4970k is a beast if you get that you won't have to worry about processing.

This would be a solid upgrade for the money, cpu wise. You get i7 4770 performance for less.
