Hello

In about 2 hours I would have passed the 2 hour mark for the 24 hour leak test. I had some leaks in the start and restarted the test. I am worried that when I use BF3 tomorrow, my cooling system will inundate my pc. Things like thermal expansion have me worried... What do you think my chances are? I will let it run through the night, because I don't have my fan controller on hand till tomorrow. So about mid day tomorrow I will have to make the call.

Note: Used compression fittings from XPSC, the loop was built inside the case from the get go. Leak test was run at speed 5 on the XPSC D5.

Any words of advice before plugging in the 24 pin would be greatly appreciated!

Do the barbs on the compression fittings fit tightly in the ID of your tubing?

If so, it is not unusual for tubing to shrink a little. After your test, You may be able to get another 1/2 to full turn on your fittings.

It is also good to ckeck for this every month or two before you power it on for use.

Also, for leaks, use a seperate PSU to power the pump that is not connected to your PC at all. That way, if a leak hits the PC power suppkly, it is not plugged into the wall or any of your PC parts so a short won't cause any damage. And if the leak hits the external PSU you are using to leak test, a short can only damage your pump, but not your PC.

"In about 2 hours I would have passed the 2 hour mark for the 24 hour leak test." >_> 22 hours..... XD Alright, I will give it a go :)  And I am using a crappy version 1 gx650 that I have no intention of using again... 650w my butt! It is just powering the pump and it's about a miter away from the tower.
