you need 3 things to boot, cpu , graphics and memory (of course the motherboard needs to work but failure rates are very low).
start with the simple things like removing and reseating the memory and graphics card.
ensure that the two 6pin power connectors are on the 5830.
do you have ◾500 Watt or greater power supply with two 75W 6-pin PCI Express connectors?
