Guys

Im running with an I5 3570 non k cpu standard cooler with two intake and one exhaust case fan. All high intensity games seem to crash after 10-15 mions of playing. All I can think of is the CPU is overheating because my GPU isnt reaching high temps. After installing HW Monitor while gaming my CPU reaches 80-83 max before the game crashes. I ran prime95 and within a couple of minutes the temps rose to over 90 which i know is high. But would those temps cause games to crash ?

Solution
I would order some fresh thermal paste and perhaps an aftermarket cooler. Then I'd check to see if the current fan is seated correctly and if the thermal paste was applied correctly. While I have the stock cooler off, I'd replace it with the Cooler Master 121 Evo since that's only about $30

Also if you're surviving prime95, I'd be looking at memory and perhaps your GPU to see if there are issues. Furmark is a stress test tool for GPUs - but be careful you can actually damage your GPU if using it incorrectly.
