I'm wondering if the "EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti Superclocked, 2048 MB DDR5, DP, HDMI, DVI" will work on my old Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP mobo? It seems the lower models (eg GTX650Ti) are not available for delivery anymore...
My power supply is 650W, so that wouldn't be a problem i guess.

Thanks for the reply!

Should be fine, that PSU is more than enough for the card.

It should work just fine! What is your CPU?

You will want to upgrade to something like a Core 2 Q8400.

I've no idea if the Q8400 is still available. will the mentioned graphic card work with my current CPU and mobo? Any drawbacks?
Or should I go for another graphic card?

Do you live in the United States? Getting a Core 2 Quad Q8400 will likely remove the bottleneck that the X6800 may put on the GTX 750, at least in some games.

Personally I would buy the new GPU first and try out the games you play to see if they're bottlenecked by the CPU (ie Low GPU usage) then you could always upgrade to the aforementioned CPU later.
