my cpu runs at 99% when compressing files and rendering. is that bad?

I'm just compressing a file and i decided to look at my task manager and saw that the cpu was running at 99% and i'm just wondering if my cpu will give out soon because i game, edit, and upload videos.

What CPU? Usage depends on theoretical performance.

No. Your processor is just fine, and won't give out any time soon just because it's being heavily utilized.

CPU usage of 99% is AWESOME - u r actually using t full power of yo system - very few computer uses ever do this.

U will only b damaging yo CPU if u r running a bad overclock ie on that is causing too much heat or that requires excessive Vcore

Compressing and rendering are very CPU intensive tasks and are supposed to utilize the full power of your CPU. As long as it is cooled sufficiently, it will not be any problem whatsoever.
