I have yet to see any hard data on this. They run them full bore 24/7 in mining operations I do believe. I think you will be part of a large experiment and hopefully the data will start coming in from this experiment as time goes on. If I knew for sure the 'less than two weeks' was real I think I would go for it.

I bought a reference 290x that was used for 2 months mining and thus far it runs great! Now, how the life span is affected no one knows. I imagine 2 weeks probably has 0 effect on it. And graphics cards can last as long as 10 years before they wear out. Even if mining abuse cut the life of a card in half, to 5 years, the card would be obsolete by that time.

These miners dumping their cards at low prices are great for gamers.
