Speedfan reports 128C temperature on i7 4790

I just finished assembling my computer. Everything seems to be working fine, but speedfan reports an unchanging CPU temperature of 128C. However, it reports individual 'core' temperatures at ~15C while idle. I also find it highly unlikely my computer would continue to operate if this CPU temp reading were accurate.

Is this a problem with SpeedFan, or could it be a problem with a CPU heat sensor?

Solution
Sounds like a glitch, and/or its reading the wrong sensor. If it was a real reading it'd bounce around a bit. And it also might not be so suspiciously divisible by 8.

Double-check it with Realtemp or HWMonitor.

Other programs report stable temperatures at about 30C, and no absurdly high temperatures anywhere, so I guess it's just some sort of weird SpeedFan bug. Thanks for the ideas on alternative temperature chekers!
