Hi guys,

I built a pc about two months ago and I'm using my 32 inch 1080p toshiba tv for it. About a month ago a weird thin red line started popping up every now and then. It's about 1/8 of the screens width and just flashes really quickly and goes away again. I haven't seen this happen with my xbox or when I watch normal tv, but I might have just missed it because those are lower resolutions. My graphics card is an Asus GTX770 2GB and it's been running great.

I tried switching cables and plugging them in different ports on my tv and updating drivers but that doesn't change anything. It also seems to happen more often when my gpu is under load, but it's under load most of the time, so that might not actually be the case. I've been trying to record it with shadowplay, but when I want it to happen it doesn't happen...

Could this be a sign of a faulty gpu, is my screen going bad or am I just unlucky and are my two hdmi cables both broken?

I'll let you know if I get a recording of it with shadowplay to see if it's there before it's displayed on screen.

Temps did get up to 80 degrees but never higher because of gpu boost 2.0 and since i got side fans in my case it doesn't go above 75 degrees in any game. And even at 50 degrees the line shows sometimes.

Do you think I should contact Asus about it?
