Hello, I'm looking to be getting a new computer sometime very soon because of all the great, new, demanding games that will be coming out by the end of the year. Would this new build cut it? Also, is the price worth it to buy pre-built?
I'm building it through CyberPowerPC.com

The price is only a little over priced but a HD 7770 isn't going to cone close to cutting it for new games unless you play at 720p for 1080p you're going to have to add another 200$ in your GPU for something like a 280x or a gtx 770

While pcpartpicker did not have all the same components that your build has, I looked up the information for the parts I did not see to get approximate prices and pieced it together on pcpartpickers site at http://pcpartpicker.com/p/B4MwkL
Some money is being wasted in my opinion with the CPU cooler, since stock should due you fine for now. And the motherboard is priced a bit high because you don't need one that costs that much based on your other parts. While Cooler Master power supplies are great quality, they are more expensive and you could save some money there too. You could probably save $50 or more by switching out your parts and put that money towards a better GPU.

The cooler on the website only makes a $4 difference. If you would like I found all the prices and everything on amazon if you'd like me to send you a message containing the links and such, im just missing the CPU cooler, Thermal Paste, Extra fans, cable to connect extra fans, wireless adaptor. But without those im already over the price listed on the pre built PC website. My cousin who is a computer guru said he has that exact card and he can run just about anything , he also mentioned that companys release crazy system requirements to promote people to buy more and new GFX cards, which makes sense..

I currently can run Arma 3 at Low/Medium settings without ANY lag (I get loads from itnernet because my connection sucks) with a Radeon 6770 HD 1G. So, do you think I can run Shadow of Mordor at Medium/High with a Radeon 7770 HD 1GB? The site recommends a Radeon 7970... I always keep my desktop at 1440 x 900 resolution. I have a small monitor considering...

I like your bit about companies promoting people to buy more and new graphics cards and totally agree. Its like the deals that a company makes with NVidia to use PhysX and such, and part of it is to recommend a more expensive card to play it. They also seem to use it as a push in the media to get people talking about the game. All that crap does is piss me off though.
