Hello again
On my old PC i have AMD Semprom +3000 All other components are fine but the CPU is a weakest spot

So i tried to overclock it Increased Bus speed to 225 mhz with multiplier of 8 and that gave me 1.8ghz in total Computer boots fine And NO temperature increase even during long and stressful gaming so i increased Bus Speed to 275 mhz (I am mad huh?) but when i saved it my computer started to be all like BEEEP BEEEP BEEEP at the POST screen (Nothing shows on the screen) i rebooted computer again and it booted correctly without beeps and no (major) temperature increases (How is that possible Please answer to this) but i got all worked up with that beep code so i brought all back at factory settings
My mobo is GA-M61VME-S2
I have 4 case fans and one good CPU cooler (After the first one blew up because i forget to turn my PC off)
So my question is how much can i push Bus speed up to the highest possible number without How do i say this um... oh... BEEEEEP BEEEEP at boot time and without my case spontaneously exploding into my face

Sorry if talking about overclock here is against the rules

You cannot unlock the multiplier. The bios did a safe reset, but showed your settings, as they were the saved ones. You might need a bit of a voltage bump. I would start lower on the bus speed, keep trying till it is unstable. My old AMD overclocking has been successful bus speed wise, with the exception of my Sempron 145 that I core unlocked to a dual core. Sadly, I don't remember the voltages for these anymore. I have gotten away from overclocking and tweaking. My next rig probably won't even be overclockable, unless Microcenter has a deal I cannot pass up.

Ok but i want to ask this When i put my bus speed too high and save computer refused to boot itself up and gave me that beep code i rebooted again It booted itself up without beep codes and i was able to enter the BIOS My question is Can sometimes computer simply refuse to boot or the god saved me by allowing my to boot

Ok never mind I would buy a new CPU for this rig but there is no more AMD Athlon 64.... My mobo only supports AM2 socket and there's no more CPU made with that socket
