Two high end 770 or one 780ti?

Solution
one 780ti would have enough ports/power to make 3 displays work, but depending on the monitor, you may need a few adapters. Also, if you have monitors with higher than 60hz refresh rates, HDMI is not an option, just DVI and Display Port.

two 770s would be slightly better performance but again, on 3 displays, you may not notice a difference. still might need adapters depending on what monitors.

if you already have a psu with more than 850 watts on it, you wont need a new power supply to power 2 770s.
if you don't have a psu that large, a single 780ti is the better (and more economical) choice.

its more or less a coin flip. single cards will always perform better than 2 lesser cards in SLI just because some games don't scale well...

then again, some games perform way BETTER in SLI configs than with a single more powerful card.

yeah, its a coin flip mate. but i would personally go for a single 780ti. cause then you can tell your friends you got one. and they will be sooooooo envious. and then down the line you could go SLI with 780ti... which is freakin amazing!
