Ok so I got all my components isntalled new motherboard new cpu new gpu. I get a good boot up and I can use the mouse and keyboard on the bios no problem legacy usb and usb are both enabled. But the second windows starts I cant seethe the mouse or the keyboard. All my usb slots work fine. The bios can read from all of them. How can I get my mouse back? Can I install a driver to a usb and do a boot from there somehow?

on the newer intel and amd mother boards that have built in video. yu have to go into the bios and change the video display output under primary display. by default it be set to auto or ipgup. set it to peg/pci first and put your video cable on the gpu video port. also in the bios now some time is setting for usb handoff. can be set to auto/off/or another setting set it to full and see if the mouse works. also with usb ports most times only the usb 2.0 ports on older mb will come on at post. most of the older mb use 3 party usb chipset.
