I need to know what steps are requires to successfully change the factory hard drive in a Sony VAIO SVE1513JCXW with a Western Digital dual drive. This will allow me to upgrade to a faster device with a larger storage capacity. I need to know (a) if this drive is compatible with my laptop.(b) will I be able to benefit from the read/write speeds of the SSD portion of the drive, and (c)If this would be a wise choice for this product?

Hi, I own a WD2Black Dual drive and the performance is absolutely awful! I don't know how to benchmark these things, but running games from the hard drive causes lots of stuttering and pauses as it loads from the drive during play, games such as Crysis and Crysis Warhead are unplayable. I'm also a photographer and have found it to be very slow using the hard drive to store my photos. The SSD is also pretty crap, but my only other experience of SSDs are my Samsung Evo 840's, and the WD doesn't even begin to compare! These are way overpriced, and seriously underperforming devices that I seriously regret buying!
