Asked on the site awhile ago about a quiet PC build, members came up with this: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/BZk3RB

and I've setup a price drop alert on the case, well it went off today and it's on sale. My question is Is this the quietest case I can get for the money? Anything else I should be looking at on the market? I've been stuck with a really loud computer for 4 years and I'm trying to do everything in my power to stop it from happening again. :p Sadly they don't have it near me so besides taking a subway and a bus to get it I'll probably pay for shipping 5$, any bad stories about having a case ship in the mail?

Also not included in the partpicker was a Noctua CPU cooler, haven't decided which yet but would it fit in the case with the current parts?

Theses cases are made to be quiet, thick, insulated sides I imagine, that's how they used to do it at least.

Yes the Define R4 is considered one of the most quiet cases on the market and it even promoted some other companies to integrate sound-dampening foam into the cases. It's a very silent case and, paired with a Noctua Cooler, should be near silent.

I decided to make a couple of changes to your build:

-Newer Haswell refresh processor. It has better TIM so it overclocks better. Also put in the newer Z97 chipset motherboard because it overclocks better than Z87.
-EVGA and Asus cards are both pretty quiet. I put in the EVGA because they have superb customer support and is clocked higher.
-Cheaper psu. The Corsair CS models aren't really that great. Also, you want a Haswell compatible psu like the Antec one I posted because some psus that are not Haswell compatible will cause crashes after coming out of sleep mode because they are not compatible.

Currently I have a HAF 912 which is the most barebones case and I do believe case adds to how quiet a computer will be, mine vibrates and feels like in amplifies the fan sounds before going out the big gaps in the top front or side.
I added the random PSU because they didn't add one and I wanted a price holder and it was on that would turn off when idle or low use, wanted a quiet PSU as well. Heard the ASUS is the quietest 770 so rather keep that instead gains from higher clocks. Didn't have any specific coolers in mind, was going to ask again when I was going to ask on the forum again before buying all the parts, if you have some recommendations I welcome them.
