So I assume that at this point getting another gtx 460 for SLI isn't worth it and I should just sell my gtx 460 and get a new GPU.

I was wondering what you'd recommend, which card is the best best value/performance combo on the market now and should I wait until fall, any price drops soon?

I was thinking either 760 or a 770, not 680 because that's older series and NVIDIA doesn't give a shit about older card series a year earlier than the newer series, so that 5-10 fps advantage it has probably won't exist much longer.

Thanks for any help.

What resolution are you playing at? if just a single 1080p screen I would go with the 760. If doing 3x1080p or 1440p go with the 770.

AMD cards are a great option too, the price to performance for AMD is better then Nvida (IMO)

I'll play at 720p most of the time because FPS is what matters to me the most in games I usually play.

However I want the GPU I buy to be able to get decent fps (at least stable 60 or 90 fps lock a few years from now in new games in the upcoming years), and I want it to last for at least 3-4 years. Which GPU would you recommend for this?

the GTX760 will power anything and everything @720p for years to come. (and will work for 1080p 60+frames when/if you upgrade)

If you wanted to save some money the 750Ti is another great choice that plays 1080p moderately but will breeze through 720p
