After my computer overheated, it won't turn back on. Even after 12 hours. On the motherboard there's a green light and the fans only spin for a millisecond and stop. It did this 3 month ago too and lasted until now.(About 2 months it lasted). So I don't know what's going on.

So I have no idea what's going on. Any advice that will help me fix this?

Took a month last time before it came back on.

Edit: I've had this computer for about 3 year and I upgraded the video card, PSU, and Memory about 2 years ago. This computer is a prebuilt desktop from HP.

Your hardware could have also possibly been damaged from the overheat. Try interchanging parts if you have any spare (Ones that you know work with your mobo) and see if that fixes anything. If it doesnt, then it is most likely a MOBO problem.

Can you disconnect the power and leave it unplugged for 5 mins. I have a similar problems with some PCs, sometimes they turn on and work, but when they dont I will disconnect them for a day and they will be fine. I think it is the MOBO.
