So this problem randomly started today. I opened up BF Hardline Beta to play and it was all laggy. So I opened up task manager and it said that 98%-100% is constantly being used. And I don't know why. I checked all the processes and im only using about 158mb/8gb of ram. And yet its saying I'm using 98% of the memory, and everything is really slow. I have tried restarting the computer and nothing, and I have searched around and still nothing. Anyone know how to fix this?

Solution
It's cached data. Data that windows decides is interesting is cached that way it can be read very fast off the RAM which is magnitudes faster than reading it off a HDD or even a SSD every time it needs data. The same thing goes for your CPU's L1/L2/L3 cache.
